Digital Access Control & Access Control Solutions
Digital Access Control may not be a familiar term to most when it comes to controlling access to buildings, offices, or secure sites. GaneTime’s access control solutions use digital inputs and outputs to help keep offices and sites secure, whilst retaining centralised control with authorised users.
GaneTime’s in-house developed control units use digital inputs to monitor doors and other devices that provide a digital signal that can be used to warn of unusual behaviour in remote, or relatively unguarded areas. GaneTime’s digital access control solution can monitor when doors have been opened for too long, wedged open, or not opened at all, and report these as realtime events to the central GaneTime server for authorised personnel to act upon. Inputs can also be taken from other devices such as fire panels, such that if the fire alarm goes off, the GaneTime system can be automatically informed and an event raised to alert users.
Digital Outputs can be used to remotely open doors, barriers, gates, etc either for normal access, or emergency escape routes. These can be triggered automatically, eg from a digital input from a fire panel, to open doors, and print rollcall reports automatically in a chain or events that are configured to your precise requirements.
Even in day to day office work, digital outputs have been used to group a number of doors or gates such that at a certain time of day (eg office hours) the doors are open for people to go through without swiping their cards, but out of office hours, the doors will automatically be locked so that only authorised personnel can gain access.
Automatic events, monitoring and controlling doors, and fire panel integration are just some of the ways that GaneTime digital access control solutions are helping provide access control solutions for companies across the country. |
